The NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) has released a statement regarding the recent water quality concerns in our area. As the regulatory authority for public water systems, they have been closely monitoring the issue. No drinking water advisories are in effect. NJ American Water has also set up a dedicated webpage and we encourage residents experiencing water quality concerns to file a report here: https://www.njamwaterwaterquality.com/. Non-emergency complaints may also be directed to NJDEP’s Division of Water Supply, after contacting the water utility.

The Bernards Township Health Department will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
