Public health nursing focuses on improving community health through prevention, education, and basic care services. It includes providing immunizations, screenings, and health education while monitoring and responding to issues like disease outbreaks and chronic conditions. Public health nursing also supports underserved populations by connecting people with resources and services, and involves collaboration with other professionals to address community health needs and promote healthier environments.

Child Health Clinics: Check ups encompassing services for children 0-18 including immunizations, well-baby checkups, vision and hearing checks, lead screening, growth and development assessment, nutrition counseling and physicals. Childhood immunization program in conjunction with the NJ Vaccines for Children program. Held in various local venues each month conducted by the the Community Visiting Nurse Association.
